An AI-Generated Comic of the Greatest Sea Adventure Ever Told

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge is my favorite long-form poem. It tells the tale of a ship, its crew and the disasters that befall them at sea. I used the poem’s public domain text as my corpus for an AI-generated comic book.

I’ve been playing around with different NLTK models and how they might inform batches of text-to-image prompts and how these prompts in amalgam might bring stories to life. This is the result of one of those experiments. I’ll be posting The Rime of the Ancient Mariner in seven parts then consolidating into something more badass than a voiced over Substack post.
