Build a World Or Explain The One Around Us
Lore Masters of the realm: gather round!
The LORE format is rapidly expanding across storytelling genres — from fantasy and screenplays to journalism and real-world narratives. So this week we spotlight four LOREs from completely different walks of life.
Before diving in, a quick note: we’re now scheduling individual demos...for everyone! If you want to meet our team and get a walkthrough of the system, just schedule here.
Alrightee, on with the show!
LORE: EclipseBorn
First up - EclipseBorn, a LORE that sits somewhere between manga, metal and haiku. It features Rhal, a guardian of his kind, who communicates with an entity beyond The Obsidian Threshold. The entity offers him two paths. The LORE summoned the hordes on Instagram here. Read the full LORE here.
Stay tuned for the next chapter!
World: The Alechemist’s Aviary
On Lore Machine, Worlds are story ecosystems containing an origin LORE and story physics made up of characters, locations, art style and narrative. Anyone can jump into a World and contribute to its canon. A brand-new user recently built The Alchemist’s Aviary, that takes you inside the malfunctioning mansion of Mad Scientist Professor Ommagon. Dive into the world here. Check out a remix - with laser dolphins - here.
Screenplay Vis: The Dark Knight
The biggest difference between Lore Machine and the countless other generative AI apps is that we’re not just an app - we’re building narrative pathways that help you craft generative worlds, aka STORY. Lore Machine’s screenplay visualization tool showcases this engine. Watch Lore Machine visualize Batman: The Dark Knight here.
Experiment: The 2028 Global Intelligence Report, The LORE
You can use Lore Machine to build a fantasy world, or you can harness its powers to explain the world around us. Recently, Citrini Research and Alap Shah published a speculative macroeconomic memo exploring the potential impact of AI on the economy over the next two years. The Substack post is breathtaking in its implications, but a tad dry. This LORE unpacks the disaster scenario in glorious pixel art form. Think The Big Short, but LORE. Read here.
